STONE Tech provides TFT-LCD display modules including:

Three simple processes are required for the LCD to operate correctly:
1) Design your own GUI and create a project file using the TOOL software with a .jpg file.
2) Download the project file to the display with a USB disk, then connect the display to MCU or other control equipment through a UART (RS-232/RS-485/TTL) interface.
3) Program the MCU and communicate with the display via the user-defined instruction set.

All STONE Tech products are connected to the control equipment using a UART serial interface, including RS-232, RS-485 and TTL. Other interfaces such as HDMI, VGA, SPI, I2C and RGB are not available for STONE Tech products.

For example: set the input data bits to 4, click “Data Input” button to input ‘‘1234’’, click “OK”, and UART will return the command:

06: command byte length, total 6 bytes: 83 00 20 01 04 D2 (no frame head)
83: read temp register command
00 20: variable address, it is set in control property
01: data word length, 1: 04 D2

No. CANBUS / MODBUS protocols are not supported at this time.
Yes. Arduino has TTL signal pins. You can use our displays with TTL interface directly (please contact our employees to confirm the interface type). Or you can use a MAX3323 chip to convert TTL signals into an RS232 signal. Yes. Raspberry P offers built-in/mini UART. They are implemented using different hardware blocks, thus featuring different characteristics. But both are 3.3V devices, which means that extra attention must be paid when connecting to RS232 or other systems using different voltage levels. Yes, the STV series product has a built-in video /audio play function. Users can store the video (.AVI format) or audio (.mp3 format) on the flash memory or USB disk and add a video play module to the interface.
For the communication test, we offer an improved RS232-DB9 converter. You can use a mini USB cable or USB disk for downloading.
Yes. You can use our TOOL software to design GUI, including .jpg image, icon, audio file and fontlib. You will then generate a project file and download it onto the display flash memory.
TOOL can be used under the Windows system. Linux or Mac OS are not supported. This software is free to download on our website.
